GENERAL

When there is an update, you will receive an email from the admin on the Agorize platform and a notification at the email address that you used for registration. Make sure to turn your notifications on & check your junk mailbox!

To update your details, log in (top right corner) and go to your participant profile to edit or change your details.

Your country/region is based on the location you selected during the registration: where you are currently living and/or studying.

If the participants you want to play with are living and/or studying in the same country as you are, you can participate in the same country challenge and create a team together.

If the participants you want to play with are living and/or studying in a different country as you are, you cannot participate in the same country challenge. You should create a team with members of this country challenge, or join one.

If you selected the wrong location at registration (the name of the country/region is visible on the top of the page) and wish to change it, follow the steps below:

  • If you do not have a team yet, go to edit your profile with the right Location and you will be automatically redirected to the right challenge.
  • If you already have a team, you first have to leave the team you created in the wrong country challenge. Go to your team tab and click "leave team" right under your profile icon. Then go to edit your profile with the right Location and you will be automatically redirected to the right challenge. Click on "Create/join a team" on the top right of the page and recreate your team.

Yes, to leave a team go to your team tab and click "leave team" right under your profile icon. Then you can join or create a new team.

No, you cannot delete another member of your team. In case that they no longer wish to participate, ask them to log in, go to the team tab and click "leave team" under their profile icon. If you do not have means to contact them, you can leave the team yourself and create/join a new team.

No, after you register on the platform you have the possibility to join an existing team or create your own team and invite other players to join you. The registration is individual and not as a team, but after registration you need to join or create a team to participate.

PARTICIPATION

Brandstorm is open to all, students & professionals, of all fields and level of study, aged between 18-30 years old. No prior experience or specific background required.

Yes! No prior experience is required to participate. It is also the objective for you to learn & discover the industry.

To participate follow 3 easy steps:

  1. Click on "Create/join a team" on the top right of the page.
  2. Go to the tab "Teams" and create or join an existing team of 3 members.
  3. To complete the submission, as a team, you have to upload 3min video pitch presenting your team by answering 5 questions based on Brandstorm Team criteria (MP4) and 3 slides explaining your idea (PPT or PDF format). Refer to the "Mission document" for more details.

Yes, you can modify your submitted file until the end of the submission deadline. You can check it in the "Mission & Timeline" tab.

You will be evaluated for your project (3 slides) and your team (3-minute video). See the respective evaluation criteria for both below.

The projects will be evaluated out of 25 points according to the evaluation criteria below:

  • Innovative (5p) - we want your team to be bold and bring to the table the products and solutions never seen before.
  • Sustainable (5p) – we want your team to take the responsibility and be mindful of the impact that your project will have on the planet.
  • Inclusive (5p) – We want your team to be mindful of diverse needs in our society to not exclude any particular social groups (gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic and multicultural origins, people with disability, all ages & generations…) and to make your project as equally accessible as possible to all potential users.
  • Feasible (5p) – we want your project to be realistic and possible to implement.
  • Scalable (5p) – we want your team to present a project realizable on a big scale.

Those selection criteria apply at every stage of the competition, including pre-screening, local finals, and international finals.

Aside from the project evaluation, the L'Oréal HR teams will evaluate the teams' compatibility with L'Oréal's 5 dimensions of potential: judgment, resilience, ambition, empathy and learning agility.

  1. Judgment (5p) - Balance intuition and analysis to cut through complexity and take sound decisions.
  2. Resilience (5p) - Leverage an ownership mindset, sense of purpose and personal values to persist and sustain energy to bounce back.
  3. Ambition (5p) - Think big and ahead, set high ambition for oneself and for the company, and pushes oneself and others to do the extra mile to achieve exceptional performance.
  4. Empathy (5p) - Be an active listener, understand and respect emotions, and create genuine and trustful relationships with a wide network of diverse people.
  5. Learning agility (5p) - Learn constantly by showing openness & curiosity, and the courage to step outside of comfort zone.

Teams invited to the Local Final will be mentored by L'Oréal experts to polish your project and help you prepare for the pitch.
